INDICATIONS
Piperazine Citrate is effective for the treatment of nematode infections in horses, swine, cattle, and poultry.
- Swine: Effective against Oesophagostomum and Ascaris.
- Cattle: Effective against Ascaris, Nematodirus, Ostertagia, Cooperia, and Oesophagostomum.
- Horses: Effective against Strongylus, Oxyuris, Trichonema, and Ascaris.
- Poultry: Effective against Ascaris and Capillaria.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Do not administer to animals with known. hypersensitivity to piperazine.
- Not recommended for animals with severely impaired liver and/or kidney function.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
For oral use only:
- Horses, Swine, and Cattle: 1-2 g per 10 kg body weight, administered via drinking water.
- Poultry: 1 kg per 1000 liters of drinking water for 2 consecutive days.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
- Meat: 2 days
- Eggs: 2 days
