INDICATIONS:
EMCLOX 4 is indicated for the treatment of respiratory tract infections. Brucellosis, Pyelonephritis, Hemorrhagic septicemia, Retained placenta, Black Quarter, Calf Scours. Mastitis, Metritis, Pyometra, Leptospirosis, Listeriosis, Bacterial Gastroenteritis, Dermatitis, Cystitis, Otitis and Abscesses, also it is recommended for surgical wounds and postoperative care.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
To prepare the injectable solution, dissolve the contents of vial in 20 ml Sterile water for Injection I.P.
- Large animals: 7 mg/kg body weight or 1 ml of 40-45 kg body weight (Practical Dosage) once daily for up to five days. Administration: Intramuscular
- Small animals: 15-25 mg/kg body weight once daily for up to five days. Administration: Intramuscular
The reconstituted solution should be used immediately after preparation. Do not allow to freeze.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Animals must not be slaughtered and milk may not be used for human consumption during treatment. The withdrawal periods after the last treatment are as follows:
- Cattle: Meat: 21 days
- Milk: 48 hours
- Sheep & Goat: Meat: 35 days
- Pig Meat: 14 days
