Drug Description
Each gm contains:

Ivermectin: 4 mg

Excipient c.b.p.: 1 g
IVOFUR Cream is an antiparasitic acaricidal for external use only. It is recommended for treating scabies caused by acari in Dogs, Cats, Rabbits and Exotic Birds.

Proven Effectiveness: Proven against scabies with antipruritic and acaricidal effects that do not sting.

Benefits: Easy to apply, moisturizes the area, and acts as an aid in tissue regeneration.

Safety: Does not have any effect on reproductive health and can be used on pregnant animals.

Results: Works immediately after the first application; animals scratch less and itching reduces.
Drug Use & Dosage

Use: External treatment for scabies caused by acari.

Dosage: Apply a small amount on the affected spot every 7 days for a total of 6 applications. In severe cases, dosage depends on the Veterinarian’s prescription.

Route of Administration: Topical – separate hair from the affected area to apply directly on the skin.
Drug Warnings

Keep treated animals away from untreated animals to avoid reinfestation.

Avoid overpopulated places during treatment.

For complicated cases with bacterial infections, consider broad-spectrum antibiotics and supplements as advised by a veterinarian.

Shaving: In animals with thick fur, shaving the affected area is advised for better absorption.
Withdrawal Period & Storage

Withdrawal Period (Rabbits): 28 days for rabbits destined for human consumption.

Disposal: Empty containers and residue must be buried or incinerated to protect aquatic organisms.

Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place protected from light (between 15° and 30°C). Keep out of reach of children and pets.
