Indications

Used as a tranquilizer for dogs.

Acts on the central nervous system, thereby calming the animal.

Used as a preanesthetic because of its sedative effects.

Acts as an aid in controlling excited animals during examination, treatment & grooming.

Prevents vomiting associated with motion sickness during road, rail & air travel.
Dosage
-
In Dogs: 1.25 – 5 mg per kg body weight.

In Cats: 2.5 mg per kg body weight.
-
Note: The dose can be modified as directed by the veterinarian.
