INDICATIONS:
BUTAFUR is indicated for managing debility caused by acute or chronic metabolic disorders resulting from poor nutrition, inadequate management, or disease. It is particularly effective in: Developmental and nutritional deficiencies in young animals due to rearing-related diseases Secondary ketosis in cows Preventive treatment (metaphylaxis) of infertility and puerperal conditionsAs a supportive therapy in sterility treatment BUTAFUR also functions as a general tonic and roborant in situations involving stress, overexertion, fatigue, reduced resistance, weakness, secondary anaemia, and exposure to cold. Furthermore, it supports muscular function and assists in treating infertility, tetany, and paresis when used alongside calcium and magnesium therapy.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Administer by intravenous (IV), intramuscular (IМ), or subcutaneous (SC) injection:
- Horses and cattle: 10.0-25.0 ml
- Foals and calves: 5.0-12.0 ml
- Sheep and goats: 2.5-8.0 ml
- Lambs: 1.5-2.5 ml
- Pigs: 2.5-10.0 ml
- Gilts: 1.0-2.5 ml
- Dogs: 0.5-5.0 ml
- Cats and fur-bearing animals: 0.5-2.5 ml
Repeat administration on the following day if needed. For birds: Add BUTAFUR to drinking water as follows:
- Chicks and young birds: 1.0-1.5 ml per liter of water
- Broilers and laying hens: 2.0-3.0 ml per liter of water for 4-5 days
