Uses and Description
MAROSET FORTE Solution for Injection is indicated for the following:
Dogs:

For the treatment and prevention of nausea induced by chemotherapy.

For the prevention of vomiting except that induced by motion sickness.

For the treatment of vomiting, in combination with other supportive measures.

For the prevention of preoperative nausea and vomiting and improvement in recovery from general anaesthesia after use of the opiate receptor agonist morphine.
Cats:

For the prevention of vomiting and the reduction of nausea, except that induced by motion sickness.

For the treatment of vomiting, in combination with other supportive measures.
Dosage & Administration

Dogs (10 weeks to 4 months of age): Administer subcutaneously at $1\text{ mg/kg}$ (equal to $1\text{ ml/10 kg}$ body weight) once daily for up to 5 days.

Dogs (4 months of age and older): Administer intravenously over 1–2 minutes or subcutaneously at $1\text{ mg/kg}$ once daily for up to 5 days.

Prevention of Chemotherapy-induced Vomiting (Dogs 4+ months): Administer $1\text{ mg/kg}$ once daily, 45 minutes prior to chemotherapy.

Cats (4 months of age and older): Administer intravenously over 1–2 minutes or subcutaneously at $1\text{ mg/kg}$ once daily for up to 5 days.
Administration Note: MAROSET FORTE injection may be administered at room temperature (15–30°C) or refrigerated temperature (2–8°C). Injecting at refrigerated temperature may reduce the pain response associated with the subcutaneous injection.
