INDICATIONS:
NITROXIL Injection is a potent antiparasitic indicated for the treatment of :
- Liver fluke infestations caused by Fasciola hepatica and Fasciola gigantica.
- Gastrointestinal parasites such as Haemonchus,
- Oesophagostomum, and Bunostomum in cattle, sheep, and goats.
- Oestrus ovis in sheep and camels.
- Hookworms in dogs
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Do not use in animals known to be hypersensitive to Nitroxynil.
- Not to be used in animals producing milk for human consumption.
- Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Administer by subcutaneous injection as follows:
- Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Camels: 1 ml per 35 kg body weight (For acute fascioliasis due to immature flukes, dosage may be increased to 1.25 ml per 35 kg body weight)
- Dogs: 0.30 ml per 10 kg body weight
