INDICATIONS:
OXYFUR-20 is indicated for the treatment and control of diseases in cattle, sheep, and pigs caused by or associated with oxytetracycline-sensitive organisms, including:
- Pasteurellosis
- Pneumonia
- Infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis (New Forest Disease) caused by Moraxella bovis
- Foul-in-the-foot
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
- Not recommended for cats, dogs, horses, or donkeys.
- Use during tooth development, including late pregnancy, may result in permanent tooth discoloration.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
For intramuscular or subcutaneous use only.
- General dose: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight
- Repeat after 48 hours if necessary.
Maximum dose per injection site:
- Cattle: Do not exceed 20 ml
- Swine: Do not exceed 10 ml
- Calves, Goats & Sheep: Do not exceed 5 ml
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
- Milk:
- Do not use milk for human consumption during treatment.
- Milk can be used only after 7 days from the last treatment.
- Not for use in ewes producing milk for human consumption.
- Meat:
- Cattle & Sheep: 28 days
- Pigs: 35 days
