INDICATIONS:
For the treatment of:
- Trypanosomiasis caused by Trypanosoma congolense, T. vivax, and T. brucei
- Piroplasmosis caused by Babesia bovis, B. bigemina, B. ovis, B. motasi, and B. canis
- Theileriosis caused by Theileria annulata
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to diminazene or phenazone.
- Contraindicated in animals with impaired renal or hepatic function.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
- Recommended dosage: 3.5 mg of diminazene aceturate per kg body weight, equivalent to 5 ml per 100 kg body weight.
- Do not exceed a total dose of 4 grams of active ingredient per animal (equivalent to 56 ml of PHENADIM).
Route of Administration: Deep intramuscular injection only.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
- Meat: 21 days
- Milk: 3 days
