INDICATIONS:
SULFINE is indicated for the treatment of:
- Cattle and Calves: Pneumonia, foot rot, diphtheria, actinobacillosis, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, enteritis, polyarthritis, streptococcal mastitis, dysentery, lymphangitis, young animal septicemia, and coccidiosis.
- Sheep and Goats: Respiratory infections, lymphangitis, young animal septicemia, and coccidiosis.
- Poultry and Pigs: Respiratory tract infections and coccidiosis.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to sulfonamides. Contraindicated in animals suffering from severe hepatic impairment or blood dyscrasias.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
For subcutaneous or slow intravenous injection.
- Cattle: 3-6 ml per 10 kg body weight on the first day, followed by 3 ml per 10 kg body weight daily for the next 2-5 days.
- Pigs: 50 mg per kg body weight daily for 3-7 days.
- Poultry: 100 mg per kg body weight daily for 3 days.
Note: In cold weather, fine crystals may form in the solution. These will re-dissolve upon gentle warming.
