Description

INDICATIONS:

This product is indicated for use in:

  • Bovine ketosis
  • Arthritis, tenosynovitis, and related musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Dermatological conditions including pruritus and allergic dermatoses.
  • Haematoma
  • Inflammatory conditions.
  • Pregnancy toxaemia in ewes/sheep

CONTRA-INDICATIONS

Do not use in:

  • Systemic fungal infections
  • Animals with arrested tuberculosis, peptic ulcer, acute psychoses, corneal ulcer, or Cushingoid syndrome.

Use with caution in animals with:

  • Diabetes, osteoporosis, chronic psychotic conditions.
  • Thrombophlebitis, hypertension, congestive heart failure (CHF), renal insufficiency, or active tuberculosis.

Note for dogs: May cause polydipsia (PD), polyphagia (PP), and polyuria (PU) with both short-term and altemate-day therapy.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

Administer via intramuscular, subcutaneous, or intra-articular/intrasynovial injection as per indication.

  • Bovine Ketosis: 2.5 mg to 10 mg via single intramuscular injection
  • Horses/Cattle / Camel:
    • Intra-articular/Intrasynovial: 6 to 18 mg
    • Intramuscular/Subcutaneous: 12 to 20 mg
  • Dogs & Cats:
    • Intra-articular/Intrasynovial: 1 to 3 mg
    • Intramuscular/Subcutaneous: 0.1 to 0.2 mg/kg body weight

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

  • Meat: 21 days
  • Milk: Do not use
