INDICATIONS:
Indicated for the treatment and prevention of:
- Infertility cases: Underdeveloped genitalia, delayed maturity, anoestrus, maintenance of pregnancy.
- Metabolic disorders:
- Post-parturient haemoglobinuria.
- Hypophosphataemia
- Ketosis
- Milk fever.
- General debility conditions.
- Other conditions:
- Bloat
- Tetany
- Pica
- Rickets in lambs.
- Role of B12 and Folic Acid:
- Folic acid is vital for DNA synthesis, tissue repair, and reproductive health.
- Vitamin B12 is essential for folic acid function, RBC production and appetite stimulation in horses.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
- Large animals: 5-10 ml daily or on alternate days.
- Small animals: 2-5 ml daily.
- Dose may be adjusted based on phosphorus deficiency. Recommended to divide dose and administer subcutaneously at multiple sites.
