Description

INDICATIONS:

Indicated for the treatment and prevention of:

  • Infertility cases: Underdeveloped genitalia, delayed maturity, anoestrus, maintenance of pregnancy.
  • Metabolic disorders:
    • Post-parturient haemoglobinuria.
    • Hypophosphataemia
    • Ketosis
    • Milk fever.
  • General debility conditions.
  • Other conditions:
    • Bloat
    • Tetany
    • Pica
    • Rickets in lambs.
  • Role of B12 and Folic Acid:
    • Folic acid is vital for DNA synthesis, tissue repair, and reproductive health.
    • Vitamin B12 is essential for folic acid function, RBC production and appetite stimulation in horses.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

  • Large animals: 5-10 ml daily or on alternate days.
  • Small animals: 2-5 ml daily.
  • Dose may be adjusted based on phosphorus deficiency. Recommended to divide dose and administer subcutaneously at multiple sites.
