INDICATIONS
VITAMIN-K is recommended for the prevention and treatment of hemorrhages resulting from vitamin K deficiency or intestinal parasitic infections such as coccidiosis. It is also effective as an antidote for anticoagulant poisoning caused by rodenticides, sweet clover toxicity, or sulfaquinoxaline treatment.
Indicated for use in Calves, Cattle, Goats, Sheep, Swine, and Poultry.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Not to be used in animals with known hypersensitivity to Menadione Sodium Bisulfite.
- Contraindicated in horses (especially via intravenous route).
- Avoid use in animals with severe renal and/or hepatic impairment.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
For oral administration:
- Calves, Cattle, Goats, and Sheep:
- 1 g per 50-100 kg body weight, administered for 3 to 21 days.
- Poultry:
- 1 kg per 12,000 liters of drinking water for 3 to 21 days.
- Swine:
- 01 kg per 5,000-10,000 liters of drinking water for 3 to 21 days.
